Whats going on in my life

Our Halo Fort
Hunter got his Bear!
Marquel and our friend that we don't know

(Bradford)
SO I haven't written for a good while now cause I've been thinking what I want to write about. I still haven't come up with anything, but I am just going to write whats going on to fill the time. Since sunday, Ness and I have been babysitting my siblings. We have done lots of fun activities like making a lego movie, painting our faces for the jazz game, the zoo, and building a sick halo fort. It is Ness' finals week so I have been in charge of the kids while she focuses on school. This being the case, Marquel and I have watched ET at least 4 times a day. Turns out ET is a really good show!
Also, While we were driving I saw a car get pulled over by two bike cops.
Well, I can't think of what else to write about. Im gonna go wake up my cute wife.
Peace, Love, The Gap

The Past Five Months: November - March

This is going to be an extremely general post about what went on in our lives between the time we got engaged and the time we got married...

Although being engaged was kind of fun, it got way lame at times. During those months Bradford would commute from Provo to Bountiful every Saturday night after work and then head back to school Sunday night or early Monday morning. It was so annoying only being able to see each other TWO days a week! Some weeks we would find reasons to meet up halfway or make the drive to Provo or Bountiful, it was way hard though. So even though being engaged and planning the wedding was fun, being married is SO much better!!

We have been married for a little over a month now and I can honestly say I still think about our wedding because I loved it so much. The temple was amazing, the day was beautiful, and I may or may not still be obsessed with our reception. I loved it. Once my photographer gets me the edited pictures, I'll post some on here. It was the most incredible day though and it made on-and-off dating for 4 years, two years away from each other, and a four month annoying commute totally worth it!!! We love March 19! After the wedding we were very lucky and got to spend a week in Hawaii which was amazing to say the least. I had never been to Hawaii so it was so fun to be in a new place with my HUSBAND! It was nice to get back to reality and get our lives started though. We love being married. So there ya go...The past five months in a serious nutshell. I'm going to be a much better journal keeper now so I can remember details, not just the general overview.

Ta Ta for now...Look forward to Bradford's next entry since we seem to be taking turns posting...

Lost

(Bradford)
So, just to preface this, I should be studying for my marriage prep exam right now, but seeing as this blog deals with marriage and that I am already married, I do not need to prepare any more.
I have been debating if i should write about this or not for a good while. And by a good while I mean, like 3 days. As my wifey knows, we are approaching the end of season 5 of 'Lost'. Season 6 is on tv right now, therefore we will not be getting lost any more until december. december. lame right? We are going to be watching the season finale tonight and that will be the end of this chapter in my life for 9 months...I really don't know where I am going with this blog, but I needed to write a tribute to 'Lost'.
For those who have yet to get lost in this captivating series, I would highly recommend it. But you must do as i did it, from start to finish. you cannot start up in season 4 and expect to get lost in it, you need to start from the very first crash. Then pay particularly close attention to Sayid. he is way more hardcore than Jack Bauer. Although I have to say my favorite character was Mr. Eko. but some lame writer decided to do something lame. (I can't reveal what happens)
Anyways, this blog is going no where, But i am. im going to take the marriage prep exam and see if I am ready for marriage. Lets hope I am, or else I feel really bad for Nessa.

The past five months: August - Novemeber

(Jenessa)

A few nights ago Bradford and I were talking about what we want to use this blog for. We decided we wanted it to be an electronic journal where we can document what is going on in our crazy lives! We both kept great journals while Bradford was on his mission, but since he's been home, we have not done so hot. So through this blog, we are recommited to write down what is going on in the lives of Bradford and Jenessa!

I hate to admit it, but since Bradford got home on August 22, I have not written in a journal at all...so bad! So here is a very very brief description of what has been going on...

Like I said, Bradford got home in August and you could say we picked up right where we left off. He left the week after he got home from his mission to go to school at BYU. I started my first semester at the U after going to USU for two years. We both had amazing experiences during our two years apart, but being back together is 10 times better. We dated for a couple months, then on November 6, Bradford proposed in Central Park! It was so incredible! New York is my very favorite place (other than powell) and so it was so special that we got engaged in beautiful Central Park. Lucky for us, Bradford's mom was there so we have fabulous pictures! I am so grateful for that because honestly it is still kind of a blur and I can't remember much. After we got engaged we went to a nice dinner with Bradford's mom and step-dad, then we saw "In the Heights" on Broadway (which if you have not seen...SO GOOD). It was so much fun. Here are some pictures of the proposal and a few shots after...

When Good birds go bad

(Bradford)
This is how I feel about you, Provo. Its a good bird, but it has gone bad. Or in other words, I am sick of it. I feel like I am having an anxiety attack all day, until I get home to our apartment. Its funny how birds work out. I thought I would of fit in great down in happy valley, with ice cream shops and churches, what more could you ask for right? Yet as I spend more and more time up in Salt Lake City, I feel more and more at home. Maybe its cause my wife is up there? k thats probably the answer, but still. Don't take this too hard Provo, but Salt Lake is a much better bird.
Ps, I found this picture on Google when I typed in "bad bird"

New blogger here!

It's official, we have now joined the blogging world! I (Jenessa) needed to learn how to blog because I am interning with the Utah Foster Care Foundation and one of my responsibilities is to update the blog...did I know how to do that? No. After I found out I had to blog with Utah Foster Care, I decided it was time to create my own blog so I could do well in my intership and in the social media part of my major. I figured since we just got married, now was the perfect time to begin. So here we are!
